D23 is underway, and the House of Mouse kicked off day one with a starry panel featuring Moana stars Auli’i Cravalho and Dwayne Johnson and news on upcoming releases from Pixar, Lucasfilm, Marvel Studios and 20th Century Studios.
There’s plenty of merch for Disney devotees to collect, too. At the D23 marketplace, attendees are getting a first look at exclusive new merchandise inspired by Disney Heroes & Villains line, Pixar’s Up, Marvel’s Iron Man and Captain America, Star Wars and more. Fans who can’t make it to the expo can get a sneak peek at the merch right now before it arrives online at the Disney Store on Monday, Aug.
The new drops also include products that commemorate the 65th and 75th anniversaries of Mary Poppins and The Adventures of Ichabod & Mr. Toad anthology, respectively, alongside collectibles, home goods, clothing, accessories and decor for Star Wars, Marvel, Pixar, Disney’s and more limited-edition treats.
Just a few of the park-ready pieces include ear headbands inspired by Mary Poppins and Maleficent; tradeable pins featuring the Haunted Mansion ride, The Little Mermaid, Fantasia, Disney Imagineering designs and more; clothing designed by Her Universe founder (and Ahsoka voice actress) Ashley Eckstein and artist Ashley Taylor; and others.
Collectors can shop signed Star Wars: Clone Wars lightsaber hilt sets; cake toppers and serving sets featuring Up‘s Carl Fredricksen and his beloved Ellie; mini Lacer vinyl sneaker sets; and limited-edition doll sets of Jasmine & Aladdin, Anastasia & Drizella and Heroes & Villains; to name just a few. (Shoppers can also get free shipping on orders of $75 or more with code SHIPMAGIC.)
